About AC/DC

AC/DC are an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1973.

More about AC/DC

From their first Sydney show in 1973, AC/DC built a direct, riff-driven sound that moved from the Bon Scott era and records such as Highway to Hell to a new chapter with Brian Johnson. Back in Black (1980), dedicated to Scott, became a landmark of hard rock; the band has kept its lineup and catalogue in motion through later albums including Power Up (2020). In 2025 they announced another run of the Power Up Tour for 2026, carrying songs from that album into stadiums across the Americas and continuing a live career that has spanned more than five decades.
